As far as the Russians go, they weren't very courteous with their own dead from what I've read, and any Russians that were captured by the Germans were unceremoniously executed and dumped into a mass grave. The nice thing about the guy in the picture above, is that since he was so well preserved that they were probably able to find a dog-tag and give him a proper burial. I don't know if thats the case though, all I've read about him is that he was a YaK pilot and bailed out too low and landed in a swamp head-first. His feet/boots stuck above the waterline so they decayed and got munched on by scavengers. But the rest stayed almost completely intact.
i thought that particular pilot was in a hurricane which was also recovered. and the reasoning for his feet missing is because the aircraft's main panel severed them during the crash

Also, I didn't expect this view of the Freedom Tower. Guess the money was worth it after all(even though its 2 times more expensive than Khalif Tower)

I don't know much about that photo other than what I read about it on 4chan. Take what I say on it with a grain of salt.

How they did the infamous scene in Raiders
The way Swamps and Bogs preserve bodies is really really interesting
[t]http://i.imgur.com/6CJnxkm.jpg[/t]
These Russian archaeologists that go out and find WWII relics every summer occasionally find bodies. They're usually forgotten skeletons but sometimes they'll find a body like the one above that died in a swamp and stayed perfectly preserved for 70 years.
Creepy that his feet kinda just snapped off

They were probably sticking out and were eaten by animals or otherwise simply exposed to harsher conditions.

so i went ahead and did some research on this guy and his name is Sergeant Boris Aleksandrovich Lazarev. He was shot down by the German pilot Oberfeldwebel Rudolf Muller. the cause of his death was the sudden deceleration experienced when his airplane crashed. he tried to leave the airplane but he was too low and slammed his chest and head into the dash. this severed his feet.
here is his hurricane

I like the idea that they planned out the layers that melt off so they happen in a specific order.

Was looking through youtube comments on this video for a song that came out in 2007.

Think about it: People have just started getting nostalgic for 2007 songs, and some were born after 2000! Millennial kids are on the internet already!

The Millennial generation is from 1980-200. That kid is from the current, as yet unnamed generation.

Muller sounds familiar.
This should be his plane around 1941/42 if you're curious to see what brought it down.

The Annoying Generation
The Annoying Generation
To be fair, every older generation calls every younger generation the worst generation ever.
The Annoying Generation
ok:
you're a guy who complains about every post 70s music genre (i can find the quote on a sensationalists headlines thread that says exactly this), disses people with tattoos (i can find this quote on the hot girls thread that says the girl is now "ruined" because she's got some tats) and just overall hates on anything new. you're like a stereotypical grandpa.
More like the generation that can't think of a life without electronics.
mother fucker if you had smart-phones with mobile data WAY BACK IN THE YEAR 2000 (SUCH A LONG TIME AGO) you wouldn't want to live without it either.

Show quotes then? The music one I'm sure exists out there but while I don't care for tattoos I don't recall ever going out of my way to say it "ruined" a girl unless I was trying to be funny or something.
