fucking ew
give us a gross picture with no contex
Why would anyone push themselves that far? If I started spewing blood like that out of my nose, I'd fucking put that barbell down. I mean, as aspiring as it is to push your limit, it ends for me when I'm actually physically hurting myself.
damn you guys now i want to buy a telescope
can you guys suggest something that is like.. not expensive as fuck and great for viewing pretty stuff?
don't need to make photographs perhaps, I just love astronomy ..never had a telescope tho

can be ebay/what ever as long as it wont be terrible,
I bet you won't see shit like that with a telescope here in the netherlands. I have no experience with telescopes, but there is so much light pollution that we barely see any stars with the naked eye.
glutes for sloots

Not true at all, I live near a forest not in a major city, here I see the stars out every single night. Although we're not on a very ideal part of the planet -near the the equator- , it doesn't mean we cannot see anything.

True meaning behind it.

Context? I don't recognize any of these people :v:
sorry I probably should have given some, it's David Bowie's 50th Birthday and there's a bunch of famous gents like Smashing Pumpkin's Billy Corgan, The Cure's Robert Smith, Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl, and a few others including the Pixies but that's all I recognise myself

My grandfather witnessed this sort of thing after the war - he says it was absolutely horrible and kind of traumatic just watching it happen.

Well, in Denmark we just shot anyone who collaborated or sympathized with the german occupiers, especially snitches.
Though our resistance movement was mostly nonviolent, we did stuff like sending most of the jewish families to sweden when we heard the nazis were going to deport them. Also it was a very strange time where the political left and right united against the occupiers.
Also it was a very strange time where the political left and right united against the occupiers.
Very strange ? I'd guess you can easily put aside you political beliefs when Nazi is occupied killing your people.
It kinda reminds me a sci-fi novel I read where an AI ended up masquerading alien existence so the US and URSS would en up fighting a common enemy instead of each others. Can't remember the title tho.

Thats not really true. The Americans had a reasonably sized Nazi movement before Germany declared war on the US, and the SS took in tons of volunteers from literally everywhere. They had divisions dedicated to Scandinavians and even took volunteers from Neutral countries like Sweden. Even some French joined the SS or worked with the Gestapo to track down resistance members. There was even an American airman who defected to the SS.
I know we all like the idea of the world setting aside it's differences to take on a greater evil, but thats not really what happened.

Ill spill my full telescope loadout for any interested in astrophotography.
Celestron Powerseeker 80EQ ($160)
Powerseeker motor drive ($40)
T-ring for sony alpha mount (~$15 depends where)
Sony A560 DSLR (something like $950)
some random washers and a ziptie as an extra adjustable counterweight.
For astrophotography I usually dont use any other optical elements, but for some planets or other small objects I use a 2x barlow with a T-thread on it. I hook up the camera to my laptop which runs deep sky stacker, and since my camera cant do remote shutter with a computer I just unplug the camera to take exposures and then plug it back in to see what is there. For sighting with the camera I either just use the stock viewfinder that came with the telescope, the camera preview screen for bright objects, or the camera viewfinder for dimmer ones. I use a little remote control to initiate the exposures.
For stargazing without a camera I remove the weights and re-balance it and then use 15mm, 6mm, and 3mm eyepeices.
Its a pretty ghetto setup

That infinity mirror is awesome, I've never seen such a big one. Do they still work as functioning mirrors?
