phobias are an uncontrollable, overwhelming fear that takes over your entire mind. Not just "oh that's a bit creepy"
Also often recognized as irrational fear. "Holy shit we are so high up!" while clinging to something sturdy is not an irrational fear of heights, for example.

It's fake, of course.

It's kind of like degrees of Kevin Bacon but with nerds.
What's going on in this? i'm stupid, I don't understand.
The squares on a camera screen usually detect that there is a face and focus on it and it is detecting a face in the darkness
The weird thing is that it's not just some weird artifacts or something, as it actually stays on the same position even though the camera moves.

That's actually really spooky.
Wow. That's actually really spooky.
Not really, that gif is probably from a movie or something; even if it wasn't it's not like the face detection isn't twitchy as hell
Not really, that gif is probably from a movie or something; even if it wasn't it's not like the face detection isn't twitchy as hell
That would explain why the cameraman deliberately keeps that dark spooky hallway and the woman in the shot at the same time.
UNH?
Yep. Since it's hard to pronounce 'Yitang Zhang', he just wanted us to call him 'Tom'. He was one of the few foreign professors that I could actually understand.

Specialist Jacob William Moore, 21, stares into the distance as he clutches the hand of a seriously wounded comrade on board a medevac air ambulance racing towards Kandahar Air Field in southern Afghanistan. SPC Moore was part of a stretcher team carrying a wounded man to safety when they hit a second explosive device, buried in their path. The men, from the 2-502 Infantry’s Attack Company were operating in Nalgham, in Zhari district. Two Americans and one Afghan soldier were killed in the attacks, four others, including SPC Moore, were wounded.
