There are exceptions to the rule.
All of my teachers have been fine so far, but that's because I live in a pretty good district.
However not all people can afford to live in the good places and are forced to attend sub par schools with sub par teachers which they can't fire because of tenure bullshit.

I went to a school from 2006-early 2009 that had 24 students at its peak in 2007. One day school was cancelled because seven kids were absent. Even though it was the middle of January and -15 degrees, my house was a five minutes' walk from school. When the school closed in 2011, it had 18 students and they had to go to another that was about ten miles away.

Thats a space station owned by an alliance/corporation (Player or NPC)
IIRC this image was taken before any caps were dropped into the fight, all those ships your seeing are battleship class
That red thing on the left is a cyno field thats letting all the other ships around it jump into the system to fight.
