There's a video of divers searching a ferry that sunk and there are dead bodies floating around. It's very creepy.
Isnt that a series of videos, where you can't see anything very well, which kinda makes it creepier? I've been trying to find them for a while now

I love Kowloon, shame that it's been destroyed, even though it was for the better. IIRC there's a fighting movie that used it as it's setting right?

I'd really want to see some pictures from inside this thing, would love to see the decaying corridors and rooms.

That's pretty cool thanks!
Theres no decay in those photos because they were taken literally right after the wreck occurred. It's been almost 2 years since then so I bet it's a tad different now.
Last picture reminds me of Bioshock.

I scuba dive, and I bet it was fucking awesome to go through that ship underwater!
Theres no decay in those photos because they were taken literally right after the wreck occurred. Then I noticed the 2013 looked awfully like a 2. Time flies so fast.
Is the Costa Concordia salvageable?
Is the Costa Concordia salvageable?
For scrap, yes there's probably way too much damage inside to repair, and who would want to cruise on it after what happened
Is the Costa Concordia salvageable?
They're going to tow the ship off and recycle and scrap it. Considering it's been sitting in salt water corroding while being unmaintained, I really doubt that it's repairable. It's also probably got ALOT of interior damage, most of which would have to be stripped and replaced. It would take years of pressure washing to get rid of all the nasty little sea critters that took home in the ship, and several thousand gallons of febreeze to get rid of the smell. It would be a lot more cost efficient to just scrap it and build a new one father down the road, which is what they're doing. As far as the cruise line is concerned, the ship is a complete and total loss. Even if they did spend the money to strip, repair, and refurbish the ship to new-condition, nobody is going to want to take a cruise on a once-sunken ship that had over 30 people die on it.
Is the Costa Concordia salvageable?
The ship has been declared a constructive total loss - the cost of salvage and repairs are greater than the value of the ship. So while they *could* try to repair it, they aren't.
What is that, just a bunch of layered sprites?
Bunch of layers all using the x/y values of the layer above them with some math to smooth the movement, its not actually that hard to do just time consuming as hell to make all the layers properly
