[QUOTE=slashsnemesis;42361995]Why doesn't it have a shadow? Could it be shopped?[/QUOTE]
no.
why would the menorah have a shadow if the mid section of the window doesnt cast a shadow? Its most likely from the exterior, a cloudy day.
[QUOTE=Mbbird;42422895]Haha I think he means a dry version with a nice cut-away breakdown of the situation at hand, not necessarily raw photos of what weaponry can do to human beings :v:

black and white graphs and recreations do a very poor job of displaying the inconsistency of bullet wounds, thats mostly why I don't like using them as examples.
[QUOTE=McTbone;42418824]I don't get to show this little chart that much, but it has a perfect example of a bullet striking bone

The ones with the titles seriously look like they could be for the cover of a novel. I think my favorite one has got to be Atlantis.
[QUOTE=Trunk Monkay;42422868]I have more stuff like that but it's not SFW, but I won't bother with it considering what happened the last time I posted something remotely close to NSFW.[/QUOTE]
I'd be totally cool with you posting whatever. Just as long as you don't image tag it because others don't really like to see that stuff. Your posts have never really ruined my day or anything.

I'm gonna refrain from posting them because I know a lot of people on this forum are far too young to handle that kind of stuff.
In exchange, have a photo of Tokyo tower at night with bloomed cherry blossoms
[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/X2tZxzn.jpg[/IMG]
Yeah I really don't have a problem with it being posted, as long as you link it and say what it's about
I wanna spend a year in Japan, almost for the cherry blossoms alone. The mountains in Japan also look amazingly beautiful, it just seems like a wonderful country.

I'd rather go to Mongolia, I dig rolling hills.

Pfft my garden looks like that.
Petrified animals
[QUOTE]
I unexpectedly found the creatures - all manner of birds and bats - washed up along the shoreline of Lake Natron in Northern Tanzania. No-one knows for certain exactly how they die, but it appears that the extreme reflective nature of the lake’s surface confuses them, and like birds crashing into plate glass windows, they crash into the lake. The water has an extremely high soda and salt content, so high that it would strip the ink off my Kodak film boxes within a few seconds. The soda and salt causes the creatures to calcify, perfectly preserved, as they dry.
I took these creatures as I found them on the shoreline, and then placed them in ‘living’ positions, bringing them back to ‘life’, as it were. Reanimated, alive again in death.

Because i just had a random brain shit about human flight, and how big our wings would have to be to actually sustain flight, i came across this.

Somehow i've been watching chinese movies, mainly movies with martial arts in them.
I absolutely love the choreography in the battles.
Don't watch these clips if you plan to see Ip-man 1&2, don't want you to spoil the best fights and parts of the story.

sorry to bring up 40k again, but this whole wing talk makes me think of Sanguinius, the "Angel" Primarch

i mean how just how does this whole wing and 'extra arms' deal work with supposedly completely sealed power armor that protects even from the vacuum of space? you can't have holes for the wings. and in the first picture he's even depicted with a cape, which is most likely 'on top' of the wings, yet the house-sized wings are up there while the cape hangs and flows freely. what
Warhammer is supposed to be ridiculously over the top of course but just look at that. stuff like this makes me wonder if the artists/writers use their brains at all

My Grandma actually worked on these production lines while my Granddad was off fighting. She built tractors that would be sent over to Europe to clear debris.
That's some damn fine restoration. Must have taken forever.
Those aren't restorations! They're recreations!
Seriously, those look incredible.
I'm surprised the women are dressed so finely for such a filthy, greasy job.
That's true. They do look so unnaturally clean in all those photos.
Propaganda photos, what do you expect?

Like download said it was probably for propaganda photos. They probably took them to throw them in major magazine publications and for posters before Rosie the Riveter took hold.
