That picture of the eye thing under the ice made me think of "the bloop", which still keeps me up at night, wondering what the fuck it could be. Any kind of pictures involving absurdly large creatures on earth are awesome, particularly ones in the oceans.

The bloop was debunked ages ago. It was ice I think.

Don't worry the bloop is probably just ice calving or other ice-happenings.
[editline]11th October 2013[/editline]
If it's an animal it's certainly nothing we've seen before and it would be odd for it to only make one detectable sound if it's that loud.
Hah this is actually on the wiki page
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-169
There's also another sound recorded by the NOAA that sounds like a long drone. It's way creepier than the bloop and I don't think it's been solved.
Well now the mystery is gone. You've ruined it. :c
Oh that one was solved too. Fucking ice.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_Down_(unidentified_sound)
Still creepy to listen to though.

You mean the Slowdown? Because that was also proven to be icebergs.
Also, here's a list of these kinds of unexplained sounds.

U.S. soldiers from the 7th Armored Division in a M21 Mortar Motor Carriage firing at German positions around Overloon.
The knocked out German Panther 222 from the 107. Panzer Brigade. It was most likely abandoned after it was hit by a PIAT projectile and became uncontrolable.

And now look at the terrible restoration job the Overloon museum gave it.

Luckily they admitted they fucked up and are now trying to restore it back to what it was back in the day when it was still operational.
what's up with the wheels? they look so fucking silly.
what's up with the wheels? they look so fucking silly.
Like I said, the restoration job was terrible. They are returning the thing back to normal again, luckily.

Road wheels always look silly without tracks.
Road wheels always look silly without tracks.
Oh, I thought he meant the paint. Yea without tracks it does look weird, but I believe the museum is giving it new tracks as well so that's cool
the eye picture is cool but idk why you guys like it SO much
You're just walking over the ice one day and you notice the ice is a bit off-coloured underneath, but the eye you're standing on is so colossal that you don't know it's an eye. You can only know it's an eye from a higher-up view. The giant creature underneath, frozen in some past ice-age, is perfectly preserved but we don't know what it looks like, only the eyes and some of its teeth. It just leaves so much to the imagination and it makes us feel so small.
Also giant fuckin' dinosaur monsters are badass.

Yeah I should hope so. Honestly, be thankful your country's Panther is in as good of condition as it is. After WWII, France took a bunch of Panthers, put them into field service until their gears lost their teeth, then used them for landmine testing.
