The pig-cops in Duke Nukem 3D.
They terrified me, but now I look at them and laugh at how I could ever be scared of those buggers.

Don't even ask me why cause I was like 6 years old, but in DKC when you walk into your banana vault and find all the bananas missing, I got so scared I covered my ears so I couldn't listen to the music.

Even now, something about the cave, the 3d modelled DK shaking his head, and the weird music still gets to me somehow.

Everything about this.

this game as a kid scared me. You had to run around and collect all the crystals and if you ran out of time, the grim reaper would slowly come toward you with his finger pointing at you and chase you around the level until he killed you

I got spooked when I played the demo of it while I was young, got the demo off one of those discs. Turned out the demo ended if you took too long, not just after finishing the first level. I was confused and quite uncomfortable after I backtracked due to fear and suddenly the screen just fades out to black.
The hypnotized village was the worst.
I bet Wolfenstein 3D's Mutants and even Hans Grösse's greeting would make you jump.
I did the first time.

I could never play this game :(
I often tried to watch my dad play this game, but the enemies just started getting scarier and creepier. the memories were just as bad.

This fucking thing right here, every single time i played halo with my dad. something about that blob and the tentacles creeped me out. (it doesn't move or anything, by the way.)

Maybe because anthropomorphic beings are bipedal animals? At least Moblins don't scare you now, either

What about the Mutants, who have guns surgically installed in their chests and don't announce their presence vocally?
The ending to Pink Panther Passport to Peril (The video is in swedish)

Extremely good game, but I just couldn't play the last part.
This will probably be very weird and out of context for those who haven't played it.

They aren't introduced with one right behind a door.
The Purple water in the Chemical Plant of Sonic The Hedgehog 2.
Signs gave me nightmares for weeks. Don't really know why.

i hate hate hate hate water in games

The zombies in "Blood". They were completely silent when they ran (no footfall sound) and they would always leap out and surprise you.

The Peahat in TLOZ: Ocarina of Time. It's the reason I would run like hell and never look back once I exited Kokiri Forest.

The giant spiders in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. I have an intense phobia of spiders anyway, so I avoided the rooms these spiders were in if at all possible. All the morbid and crazy creatures in that game, and the damn spider was the one that creeped me out the most lol. Well, them and the raptors...fuck those too.
Those Ashlander temples and Shrines in Morrowind.
The idle Imp sound effect in Doom 1 and 2.
Ocarina of Time was manageable and not too scary for me until I got to Bongo Bongo. That fucking thing terrified me. I stopped playing for about two years before I came back to it and finally finished the shadow temple.
I think Bongo Bongo is cool now

This comes to mind. From Banjo Tooie on N64, always creeped me out as a kid.
Borg boss in Star Trek Elite Force 2... I still don't know why.

My dad let me beat the final boss battle (all by myself) on RTCW when I was 10, those flying skulls Heinrich throws at you scared the shit out of me but it was still pretty badass, that game is what got me into PC gaming. He let me sit on his lap and help him play it. I've beaten that game like 50 times and it never gets old :D.
But still. Those freakin' skulls still give me the creeps. Can't wait for the new Wolfenstein game!

Crash Bandicoot villain

My friend told me to enter some fancy ass code in.

Never again.

Unagi the eel, redeads, and Metroids, specifically the Metroids in Metroid Prime.
The first Flood level in Halo 2.
It would be at least better if it gave me a flashlight, but all I got is a shitty cloak as the Arbiter and I was so scared I rushed through the whole level the cloak on and bashed every infected with my melee.

Also the countryside in GTA San Andreas :v:

The way they dropped out of the sky, the way they moved, the music. It was all so FUCKING SPOOKY.
Cave of Bad Dreams in Rayman 2 always scared the shit out of me...
