Cold... I don't want to smell my own burning flesh
Heat. Once your nerve endings burn off, you don't feel a thing
But before that happens you'd feel the heat.
It's really a question of whether you prefer burning to death or a nice nap.
Cold for sure. Burning to death sounds like it sucks so fucking much.

It would hurt for quite some time, until the fire/heat destroys all your nerve cells.
Cold since you won't really feel anything.
I hate the cold but I'd imagine burning alive would hurt like a bitch.
I picked heat, but now i realize that it matters on how hot it actually is. If i get instantly incarccerated at 6000 degrees, then sure, heat, but if it's slow heat, the kind that drives you to illusions and demensia, then i would pick cold. As cold as it gets is around -200 degrees celsius.
Can't take that long.
i wouldnt pick heat! what a pain getting melted!
Cold.
In the end you'll get sleepy and you'll fall to sleep.
With Heat you'll stay awake due to the immense pain.
People... let's not for get what actually happens when you overheat--you pass out. In fact, you start to feel euphoric and high as you start to lose consciousness. Has no one here been in a sauna before?
Dying by fire is another matter all together.
If you die by heat, it suggests that you are slowly dehydrating.
Which is a horrible way to die... Think about it. Remember that time you woke up and your mouth was dry and cracked? Imagine that, but 100x worse. Imagine your limbs slowly failing to work... Your breath becoming shallow and rugged. Your vision starts to blur. You flop to the ground and start convulsing, then are still.
That's dehydration.
Cold is the way to go; besides, the arctic is much more beautiful than the desert. And your body will be preserved by the snow and ice.
Cold, seems less painful
Blashyrkh.
Heat, unless it's fire.
I get really sleepy in hot conditions so I'd most likely knock out.
Depends on what kind of heat you are talking about, fire? Or are we just talking about heat stroke and then die? I can say by experience that dying from heat in that form is much better than freezing to death. If we are talking about burning alive in a fire, please get me a ticket to the closest frozen pond.
Cold... a hot death sounds far more painful than dying of cold.
Cold.

This thread is cool.

I need more ice-related puns.
im going to be a macho rebel and say heat
cold.
Cold. This reminds me of a Robert Frost poem.
When freezing to death, it's cold untill a bit where you can't feel anything, and from there it's just a sudden death.
When "heated" to death, your skin starts to burn/melt which is incredible painfull.
I'd have to go with freezing.
