Actually, in the afternoon I decided to help him out and brought to his house my old NVidia GeForce 660 and we installed it on his PC (which had a AUM graphic card)
After some tries, the Phantom Pain finally started up and he was pretty happy about it

That part came when he bought that graphic card of mine for 80 bucks

Not sure to congratulate myself or not, but I'm now officialy a mech engineer college student and classes start next week. Also I'll do my first math exam at the end of the first week.
But holy shit. You can choose what classes you want to go into and when, and there's even more [B][I]fucking interesting[/I][/B] freely choosable classes if you want to learn something else (and get more credits). Oh and IT classes programm in C#. It's like a dream coming true.
I can't wait.

I was stressing out about this test but just got an 82% on the pretest so I think I'm good, especially since I just looked at the shit I got wrong and a bunch if it was using a ( instead of a [ etc.

Also awhile back I was pissed about not being able to get Word to do my assignments
apparently taking a virtual class at my highschool provides me an Office 365 subscription, and taking college classes provides me a free office download.
Holy shit my school is fucking awesome, I don't even care that we have a few spots where the ceiling leaks.
Made a Mai Tai with some spiced rum the guy at the liquor store recommended. He suggested I get it instead of Captain Morgan since it was a few bucks cheaper and he said it was smoother, and OH MY GOD IT'S AMAZING. Gunna have to make another drink or at least have some more shots of just the rum.
Oh lawd. Gettin' buzzed already. At least my bf's quarter is ending tomorrow so we are having a mini just us party, and then it's his birthday in like 10 days, so I will have a real excuse to get drunk.

Thank you, but I already know C#/.Net inside-out too, it's just a relief that we don't have to use java, vb.net, or pascal. I have been using the language since 2010 for hobby projects.

I'm gonna be learning some new languages for my new job and I'm sure they'll help me along the way but for the time being I'm gonna try and learn them, I'm already pretty confident with python so hopefully it's not too different?
adding to that actually, the people who started the job including myself are getting a laptop loaded with a fuck ton of expensive software on so that's exciting!!

My new glass screen protector came in today so I did tests on my old one.
I hit it with a hammer and scratched at it with knives.
The conclusion -
It can handle drops and being scratched to hell, but being hit with a hammer utterly devastates it.

Finally passed my driving exam. Now i'll just have to go in next week to sort out the paperwork and whatever and i'll have my license hopefully by the end of this month or early next month and i can begin driving my parents car.
