Apparently the Dean of my college wants to speak with me. He overheard me and this lady I submitted my suspension appeal to talking about this programmable LED Hula Hoop project I've been working on for a friend, and after I left he asked her about me and asked if she could pass on the message to me that he wants to speak with me about it and take it to this innovation center in town that he helped fund so I could possibly get it recognized by some entrepreneurs and investors... I don't even know how to explain how excited I am.
I think I made a "no hard feelings" pact with the person who fucked me over in the course of the last two-three months, and now I feel like I'm starting to move on.
So say hello to a slightly less sad new me, I guess!
Got my ACT form mostly filled out, just gotta get $37.50 and turn this shit in and I'll be able to take college classes next year during highschool, assuming I'm not a fucking idiot who doesn't know how to do anything.

In a little over a week I get my first paycheck ever, and can finally pay my girlfriend back for buying me dinner twice
Today my day started goox by receiving the pc fans I ordered. Then it went shit as I had to take a 1.5 hour detour by train as there was a fucking power outtage. Then visited a student house to have a view of a room I had my eyes on, went to my aunt and uncle to eat and put my sleeping stuff, went to a friends house and got a text that I got the room, had some beer and went out. Now I'm in bed and I FEEL GREAT about my day!

It's done! I'm officially enrolled in classes again. Been a whole 2 years without uni, but now I'm excited as hell to get back. Bit of a minor niggle with enrolment, lame schedule and gotta transfer course after the first semester, but that shouldn't be a problem unless I royally screw up. Woo!

The community here on facepunch makes me happy. Seriously, I've been going through such a hard time after my cat died and just...all the overwhelming compassion and shit I've gotten in such a quick amount of time is astounding. People I've never talked to took time to just write messages that meant a lot to me, even if it was just like not even twenty seconds it took for them to write it means [I]so so so[/I] much to me. I cannot emphasize it enough and I wish I could do more than say thank you. Maybe someday I can repay the favor with more than just words. It has been a long time since I've actually felt like I'm part of a community like this.
Its been so hard but with my girlfriend, friends, and the people here, its been a lot easier and I'm ever so grateful.

I'm going to this company again next week for an internship. The program you see above, I made that last year during the first internship. This time it's the ending internship so to speak.
The program monitors the filling process for the steering aid of the trucks. The company I worked at is DAF Trucks. It's awesome.
