I don't think anyone remembers but I posted my friends band, Solence, here sometime ago (not exactly here but in the forums somewhere) when they released their cover of Warriors by Imagine Dragons.
The singer just said "Hey, you wanna see us tomorrow?" and I said I have no money.
"No worries, we'll get you a three day pass for the city festival, come on down"
I am nearly crying, this is fucking great! Not only do I get to see their first performance in YEARS but I also get to see Maskinen, Movits, Hoffmaestro, Raubtier and Deals Death and loads of other shit!
He said that it's a thanks for helping them grow and spread them around and my general support holy shit yes I love him.

Learning to draw a bit better with paint as well and expirementing. Feel like some progress has definitely been made compared to my previous drawings.
