Max Payne 1 is one of those games I replay every coupla years, because it still holds up so remarkably well
the shooting is fun and the story is well told enough that it's always engaging

It may have been ahead of it's time back in 2001, but it feels very strange and janky now. I don't think that Quake 3 engine was ever really made to be used as a third person engine. :v:

I agree on GTA3 but i disagree completely on MP, I had no problems playing that and I never once had the sense of "This feels dated and weird" besides the graphics
And yeah of course it wont feel ahead of its time now since it's not 2001, the point is that it was ahead of its time back then, so it's not nearly as dated feeling nowadays because of how much closer it feels

They weren't bad most of the time except for missions where you had to aim something
That mission in The Ballad of Gay Tony with the Buzzard was almost impossible for me since you had to be so specific with how you aimed the turret which was hard as fuck cuz of how much the helicopter banked and shit
Was a shame cuz I loved IV to death except for stuff like that

I have most of the stuff remembered from kill la kill. It's a rare occasion that I actually remember stuff, that happen almost a year ago.

I've recently been in an nostalgic anime trip, I've been rewatching the ones from my childhood (Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion --wow, I'm not that old--) but some modern stuff could be neat
I haven't really watched much anime apart from that stuff to be totally honest. I used to read loads of manga, would get a shonen jump in the mail every month or week I can't rememeber, it was fucking awesome thoguh
My mum got a bottle of spiced rum and it's delicious.

Had my girlfriend over all day, going to the states to shop tomorrow and then my friend is coming over later to stay for the weekend.
The college gave me my .edu email already, so now I can use it to get some software I want for free since some of the ones i want give themselves free for students!

To be fair im not really far in yet, I don't start classes till the fall
But they gave me all my account information and stuff as soon as I got accepted and paid the admissions deposit so now I can use it to prepare since I know I'm gonna have to take an intro to java course

Apparently, Walmart likes to pay its employees above minimum wage whenever possible. Since they raised the Massachusetts minimum wage to $9/hour this year, Walmart is going to start paying me $10/hour in a couple of months. That also means I'll get $15/hour on Sundays because of time-and-a-half.
