Today I flew home from the UK to the NL. I assume that due to bad weather, we were flying significantly lower than I'm used to. Once we came out of the clouds, I could see loads of ships in the northsea, arrays of red lights (I think wind turbines?) And more than a few lighthouses along a completely orange coast (because of lights). Was amazing to see, really enjoy that sort of views.
I had an epiphany today, and after trying out a new writing style I have already finished the introductory chapter. If anyone fancies a read and cares to give me some criticism let me know because I am eager to share and see if it works

I was stressing out earlier about a paper that I had to do for one of my classes. I hadn't had a chance beore today to do any work on it because I've had such a huge workload for my other classes, and when I looked over the assignment sheet I realized that I had no idea what to write for it. I decided to email my professor to ask what her late policy is, I basically just told her in the email I had sent that I would rather turn in a late but good paper than an on time but shitty paper. She emailed me back and said that I had another week to do it, and I can come into her office tomorrow to discuss the paper and what sort of thesis she's looking for because she's been backlogged with grading anyway and we've had to cancel almost half of our classes so far because of weather issues
Tomorrow I don't have to work due to inclement weather.

In my part Texas people lose their minds over snow. Also there's a single sand-truck with a snow-scoop for my entire county, so although we probably could take it easy and get around fine, it it's serious ice not much can be done. Although I think the term is over-used too, I'm not complaining about a day off of work.

I forgot Always Sunny had started back, now I have 6 episodes to binge on....I...I am so happy right now
This morning I woke up 8 minutes before I had to go to the train.
In that time I managed to take a shower, brush my teeth, find some clothes and put them all, prepare my food, prepare my tablet, prepare my razor. All within 8 minutes.
I'm proud of that.
One of my closest friends is recovering from PTSD (same one I posted about in STGYM), and she is getting close to being fully sociable, albeit with paranoia induces hyper-awareness, but that can be helped on the spot with gentle reassurance. She can go out on her own for fairly respectable periods of time, and longer if she has someone there to help.
Real damn proud of her for making it this far after what happened while she was deployed in the Middle East, and glad to have one of my oldest friends back.
On another note, glad to be going to PAX East this year.
I just had an endoscopy and they gave me some awesome sedative, I'm loopy as fuck and it's amazing that I typed this clearly. So I should not post anymore so I don't get a PUI ban.
