Explored my city where I grew up in Latvia, it's been 8 years since I left and never went back there because I live in Ireland now.
Used google maps, photos are from 2011 but that's as new as I can get of that city, it's so weird, I get these mixed emotions kind of happy, sad, curious when looking, as a kid I never visited some areas of that city as I was scared of them - and now I am browsing them through maps.

For past 8 years it feels like life there was paused, but as I view it - it's not, people still live there, they still build stuff, city is evolving into more modern/green, it's alive and it's hard to believe it I grew up there and all the memories.

JCDecaux took over cities advertising, which I am glad about, their advertising methods are really nice and not pushy, when I left - we had these massive posters on sides of buildings which were designed in MS paint.

Also seeing all my graffities I left as a kid still there strikes me right in the feels.

Hell, even on last day in my apartment, I went out to balcony and using spray paint - I sprayed: "ALS" all across wall as far as I could, it's about 1x1 metre spray tag and it's fourth floor and even that is still there.

I'm not so sure it's wise to get into debt before making sure you have a job and stable income to pay it with.

Lost my previous job, and then the car registration ran out. That's $400 to pay within a month or I lose my plates. The computer part is just something I need to get done whenever. I do live with the rest of my family however.

OOH and I watched a hella cool documentary called "Reel Injun: On the Trail of the Hollywood Indian", for my anthropology class. I recommend it to all, it's really good and interesting.
