I bumped into an ex in town yesterday, we hadn't seen eachother since we finished secondary school because we went to different colleges, and it was nice to catch up. It was kinda jarring but funny to find out she's got a kid on the way, like i had to try really hard not to laugh, and failed pretty badly.

Then today I went out to get pictures of graff on a railway bridge, and basically stumbled into a time capsule. Some of the pieces were dated 99 and 98, and there was a list of names and when they started writting, earliest was '88 which was pretty cool. Found out that one of my fave local artists has been writting since '94, and he still gets up to this day, thats more than 20 years. p impressive tbh

So I just went to Universal Studios Japan (Osaka).

Much better than Disneyland. It's like 50% lines and 50% rides at USJ, unlike Disneyland's 90% lines and 10% rides. That's with the more expensive express ticketing, though. It's like fastpass, but it's much better since you don't have to pick the ticket up at a specific time - instead, you buy the ticket for a certain time beforehand. The rides were amazing, too, especially the new Harry Potter one that was built just last year. Universal has proven to me once again that they're really good with special effects.

I decided to get rid of a bunch of old clothes that don't fit me anymore and my Mom took them all to a charity shop.

Feels good to have a little more room in my wardrobe. It's been five to four years of clothing that I haven't worn in a long time and it was time I got rid of some. 21 t-shirts, 3 trousers, 6 pairs of socks & 2 shorts.

I've been working on a game for several weeks and it really turns out well. (Pardon for the horrible resolution on the video)

Basically, you have to collect the boxes and earn points. it comes up with powerups which will help you getting those boxes.

Finally, after goofing around with unity, I'm able to use it swell enough to develope games. I'm relieved as heck. My dreamgoal has been reached!

So after multiple days of dealing with my room smelling like mold and death from a water leak, I went "fuck this shit let's do this carpet right the fuck out."

Now my room is better in every way other than appearance and I still need to hook my PC back up. I even got a pine+coconut+cherry air freshener and it smells wonderful.

I was at Gamestop preordering my copy of Black Ops III (which I got a pretty fucking sweet poster from, which I didn't even know I'd get from it) and I found a $2 copy of Perfect Dark Zero Limited Collector's Edition in the steel case and all, then I got in the car to leave and my favorite band was on the radio.

Today's been a good day so far.

I signed up for this forum originally just to comment in the FNAF thread when the game first boomed. I've done more than that now and didn't expect to make friends and meet really cool people along the way. Here's to another thousand posts!

My coworker is leaving the museum I work at. He seems like a nice enough guy, but he aasn't talkative at all, at least with me, and it made the slow days even more slow not having someone to talk to. Hopefully his replacement is more talkative.

Found a new rattlesnake site this weekend. Was driving to a pond and saw a nice looking cut, convinced the guy I was with to stop and climb it with me. Found the first rattler in about 10 minutes.

Handed in my dissertation last Friday.

Let me tell you guys something, when you have less than 11 hours sleep spread out over three days you go into this weird state where you aren't tired but just agitated in general, when I handed in that fucker first thing I did was sleep.
