no armrests tho
That's a bonus for some. I'm a fidgety sitter that likes to spread out and shift my weight around the chair. They get in the way.
I use a pillow
Nah fuck gaming chairs, I own 2 of these

truth be told they're comfy as fuck
no armrests tho
I sawed the armrests off my office chair for unrestricted elbow movement.
I have a DXRacer King and it's really comfortable, it cost me about 400€ but it was definitely worth it. I wanted a computer chair with arm + headrest and I landed on this one since I'm tall.

most car seat headrests feel terrible; sometimes would rather not have one at all
i use a couch as a chair and bed
what couch? rip spine
I managed to snag a ThunderX3 for 200NZD instead of 412NZD so I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
Price was the main deterrent.
I quite enjoy my dxracer, the cushioning is nice, the leather feels good, and its all adjustable to a good degree. I always forget how comfortable it is compared to the stuff I have at college until I go back to it at home.
I went to dreamhack this year and sat in a lot of gaming chairs, and none of them were as good as my dxracer at home. It's probably the best out of all of them if thats the style you want.
get a used barber chair.
get an actual racing bucket-seat and turn it into a chair.
Actual full buckets are much less confortable to use daily than racing style chairs, and can't lean.
Plus you will definetly be too low
Not a gaming chair but I'm getting an Aeron at the end of the month, so pumped up and ready to sit
[t]https://www.nok20.org/wp-content/uploads/s/s-aeron-chair-b.jpg[/t]
I have an aeron at work and a dxracer at home and a I much prefer the dxracer. Gaming chairs are great if you have a smaller frame. Most chubbier people at work didn't like the racing chairs when we tested them since they felt to constraining.
That's really good idea to buy a new chair right now. Because the old one has already passed 8 years that very long time. I am also looking for the a new chair for myself and also searching through the internet. My budget isn't so high. I hope I might get something special under my low budget https://gamingchairinsider.com/racing-gaming-chairs/
In the meantime if you get some new please let me know. :)
