In Japan voice acting for shows is taken a lot more seriously
Most English dub VAs just don't give a shit, so we end up with ones that sound like they learned English a month ago from online courses
Every time I am unfortunate enough to hear bad dubs it just makes me cringe

Unfortunately sounds about right, all the dubs I enjoyed were already very popular anime so ofc the VAs care then, unfortunately not so much when it comes to kind of unknown anime..

I thought Soul Eater had some decent dubs also Shin Chan and Black Lagoon.
Shin Chan(adult swim dub) and Ghost Stories Dub are really funny dubs.
If a dub is worth watching,then it's definitely Baccano's dub.

Because there are no good english voice actors that voices anime, and even when there are (Steven Blum) they are told to use the exact same voice for every character they get even when it doesn't fit the character at all.
They are talentless, emotionless voice actors that can't put in effort at all, as well as there probably being a bunch of fucking retards telling them to act that way as well in the production staff because they treat the audience like braindead 5 year olds.
It's all fucking terrible, at best it's decent because of a voice actor or two.
There is also the whole thing about enjoying something the way it was meant to be. I'm from Norway, I would never watch a Norwegian movie in English, I would never watch a English movie in Norwegian, I would never watch a Swedish movie in Norwegian or English. Treat the products with respect, a French movie with English dubs would just ruin the whole fucking movie.
The original cast was chosen because they deliver the optimal performance according to the director, the director meant for the show to be watched with that cast, their performance and delivery is what he or she was looking for. You're fucking the whole experience up by choosing a cast some fucktwats in a different company in a different part of the world chose, usually moreso because of the actors popularity than similarity to the original voice.

Seems like GeneralIvan suspended his account earlier today after getting too much flak for using the same fucking voice he uses for everything when he uploaded the Big Jazz and Dio voices earlier today and yesterday.
Someone should recommend an anime where the main character isn't a pussy when it comes to girls.
