I've just finished Denpa teki na Kanojo and damn was it good, it really took the word twisted to a whole new level. Ayase's face in episode 2 was brilliant, that emotionless stare that she had on the entire time they where at her house was unnerving to even look at. The idea of[sp]keeping your dead mother in your house[/sp]is pretty strange already, but the way it's done makes it seem so much worse, something to do with the way it's all presented makes it more sickening. It also had some pretty funny moments, the one that comes to mind is the bit where[sp]Hikaru takes all her clothes of and shizz, and Juu just pours his drink on her[/sp]
I like it a lot.

It fits the epoch, it was invented relatively shortly after[sp]potatoes[/sp]arrived and was well enough known by the end of the 17th century.
(I doubt many people had access to it at that time though.)
