As for what's been really good the recent season or two:
Psycho-pass, Sasami-San, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Bakuman (third season currently airing).
There's been a lot of good shows the past two season though, but I won't bother just listing up a bazillion shows.
I kinda feel like trying A Certain Magical Index.

It's sci-fi with superpowers/magic. It's set in a futuristic city where people can do things like throw fireballs, teleport objects or control/generate electricity.
I wouldn't really recommend it.
