There was a feature-length BBC drama thing called A Short Stay in Switzerland that depicts a completely true tale of a woman who went to Switzerland with her children to be euthanized legally due to a degenerative disease.. The ending to that was unbelievable- Julie Walters played the lead woman and her performance slew me.
In "Letters From Iwo Jima" when the two marines execute Shizmu and later Saigo finds his corpse and cries...
So sad ;-;
I probably stand alone on this one; but the ending to V for Vendetta made me feel sad, and happy. But it was also awesome. I felt especially sad when the crowd starts removing their masks. If you've seen the movie; you'd know why.

It's not the saddest portion of a movie I know of; but it's one of them. Possibly at the top of the saddest parts of movies IMHO was the ending to Donnie Darko.
I never noticed before but Steven Fry is actually in the crowd when they take they're masks off.

For those who haven't seen the film, this won't have much of an effect. Basically, the man goes through a huge amount of trouble to get to the girl (his daughter), and she's never met him before. Since he's all bloodied up and everything, she gets scared.

Holy shit this is sad
From the toy perspective yes, but from Andy's its just fucking weird. Why is he THAT attached to those fucking toys?

He wasn't. It clearly shows that he lost interest over time. But growing up, and finally realizing you're leaving everything behind to move on to the future, lost all your innocence; then those last moments with your toys can be the best you've had in years.

You're weird for having no nostalgia or sympathy for leaving your childhood behind.
