• Do you respect people with disabilities?

I have once met a disabled guy in a wheelchair that was actually one of the biggest assholes I've seen in my life. Everyone was fine with him, being polite and stuff, and this sonova bitch just insulted you if you were in his passage, no matter if you politely stepped aside like thirty seconds before. And I'm sure there is a lot of these assholes who use their disability to be dicks.
Most of the time. But sometimes there's a kid who should know better, but they don't give them enough credit and they can get away with anything because they are "special", and then just act like a fucking dick.
Fuck I voted no I meant to vote yes, sorry.
Of Course
No. That girl with the broken arm? Fucking scum. [sp]obviously not serious, what was op expecting here?[/sp]
Mental disorders, syndromes and injuries. And difficulties, and deseases counts.
It's disease you fucking spaz.
I have respect for their rights, and sympathy for them. However, I don't really respect any of them more than anyone else unless they have accomplished something. I know this one kid who actually managed to get into honors english, even though he struggles with some disability that I don't know the name of. I respect him for accomplishing that.
I treat everyone identically unless their disability absolutely requires it. I also don't make adjustments for when your less appropriate actions aren't clearly involuntary, and even if I do know I will avoid you just because I honestly dislike being around you. I can have sympathy and I won't get in your way intentionally, and I honestly HATE it when people talk about others behind their back. I may have multiple personality disorders myself, since I can't find any good friends and have plenty of people that spend their day harassing me.
Whether they are disabled or not doesn't affect how I think of them. Disabled people can still be jerks. I treat everyone the same.
I respect anyone, except if they're total jackasses towards others. I have a disability, if you count stutter.
I said no because I dont have special respect for them, just as much as anybody else. I just dont like how people dont understand that a prick is a prick whether he is disabled or a kid.
Lol I stole this one handicap kids glasses once. He was saying "Give back my glasses!" But it sounded like "Give sack in my asses"
You're a dick.
If they don't act like assholes. Yes.
No, why would I. Them being disabled doesn't make them special. They're just normal people.
Not any more or less than people without disabilities.
I believe in something that has something to do with killing everyone who can't live on their own and contribute to the world.
I wouldn't say i respect them. I don't respect most people. But I certainly don't pity them.
No, why would I. Them being disabled doesn't make them special. They're just normal people.
Except for when they have a disorder that really affects how they interact with people? :downs:
Yes, but if they want them to have special rights then fuck no. Everyone should be equal, and no better or worse.
Yes. Because I have a kind of mental disability. :smith: It's called dyspraxia.
Yes, unless they do like a guy on my school used to do. He kissed everyone.
I feel sorry for most, I respect them if they did something respectable, otherwise they're normal people.
Depending on the person, I can respect someone with downs since it is like really bad, but I cannot stand some obnoxious aspie. I have aspergers and you cannot believe how obnoxious my classmates can be from time to time.
Yes, unless it's Asperger's Syndrome.
They're human beings too.
Usually I point and laugh, then try to push them down the stairs. [editline]9th January 2011[/editline] Yes I do, as much as everyone else. Of course it depends on the degree of disability, I do sometimes make fun of obnoxious Aspies or morbidly obese people (but not excessively of course). Then again I do sometimes make fun of everyone in one way or another, so yeah, I respect them as much as anyone else.
"hi i have no idea how deformities occur" That's basically what I got from your post.
Well, I meant mother's fault if they drank, smoke, or used drugs. Sorry that you read everything as if it was written by a 12 year old.
If they don't act like assholes. Yes.
Some people with diablities are so sick that they lost their personality like "I don't care anymore" and suddenly they don't respect others. They can be like douchbags, but they think they lost their hope.

A crowd of people gathered around real quick like a fight happened and I was like :wtc: and he kept shouting at me for no reason. So I walked over to his little joystick to control the thing and disconnected the cable right under it (was dangling there) and later got suspended for 2 days for it :v: He deserved it though.
