this is what i cooked last night. it was damn tasty. and i'm surprised i didn't burn myself since i'd been in a cocktail bar previous to doing it.

fillet steak, cooked medium, with a red wine jus. i was going to do a peppercorn sauce but i forgot to buy cream so i couldn't. so i just deglazed the pan the meat had been cooking in with some beef stock i had frozen then banging in a bit of red wine. NOM.
