I just realised that where I live now is much better than where I lived 6 months ago. Seriously like, around the corner from here there's a baguette bar, a kebab shop (except they sell like every food under the sun and the only thing that tastes shitty there is the chicken), a chip shop, a sweet shop, a premier (like a general small mart), a bank and a post office. It's fucking rad compared to where I used to live, where the only shop I had a use for within walking distance was the co-op

Just finished writing the first (of hopefully many) letters to a girl I'm sort of in a long distance relationship with. I plan to drive (17 hours) to meet her this Summer. We regularly chat on skype, but a lot less now that we're both in the heaviest part of college (this year).

Had a rough day, but I gave a guy money for the bus because his ride flaked out on him. Made me feel better about the shitty day I had just by seeing how thankful he was.
Spent the day with my best friend walking around Lisbon, I haven't been here in a long time and being able to walk around with no worries and actually see things was great, especially the monuments and the Terreiro do Paço.
It's such an old big city but to believe that it's as beautiful as it is after that huge 1755 earthquake that almost destroyed the entire city is amazing. Although big city life isn't for me, there are a lot of homeless and druggies around, it's quite sad really.

I am downloading faster than 1mb for the first time in my entire life using internet at home at 2mb.

Saw Karnivool and Port Noir last night, been waiting nearly 5 years to see Karnivool so it was a great night! They didn't play my favorite song that they used to end their sets with though, but I'll just have to deal with it.
Also met the former bass player of Clawfinger, who now plays bass in Feared and is the sound technichian for Meshuggah! We met during Euroblast and talked a little when they first came to Cologne for the festival.
Great guy, not to mention the rest of Feared, can't imagine their vocalist being one of the game artists for Candy Crush, it's so weird considering that he's a big, fat and bearded Brazilian with the voice of a demon.
