Confidence is essential; this is indubitable. However, people who go around and say confidence is everything don't seem to realise that looks are important. Physical attraction is a vital part of any healthy relationship. You can have all the charisma and confidence in the world and not be as successful as that charisma should make you be because you're not physically attractive. I hate to example myself, but I'm a very outwards and confident person (I'm not overzealous or overly arrogant). However, I'm seriously quite ugly and that seems to scare off any girls that are even willing to talk to me in the first place.

I caught my Dad looking at various cable modems on Newegg this morning. I think he's finally looking for a replacement for our dying one.

My little brother is the smartest motherfucker ever. This motherfucker is 8, right? He comes in my room and asks me what a paradox is. I explain that it's like, something that's impossible, like for example, what happens if an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object? He then gets this look on his face and goes quiet for several seconds. I didn't want him in my room anyway, so I start to push him out and close the door, and just before it closes he goes "It'd probably just go around it." and I'm like "...OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH" that shit makes so much sense my 8 year old brother just out-thought several fucking scientists and philosophers and shit

So my Dad went out to grab a router from Best Buy instead of ordering it online. Installed it almost seamlessly and my connection is perfect again. Today feels like such a good day.
