Just got hit by a car while walking back from Wawa.
Well, maybe not so much "hit" as "nudged", but still.
I made it out totally fine, my sandwich intact.

The fact I get to use my Vietnam Era M1 Pot Helmet in a project for school. We had to write a letter as either a Pro Vietnam War person, or an Anti-War Vietnam Protestor. Basically we had to explain why we have that position. Some girl in my teacher's other block of Modern History brought hers in a couple days early and made it look like it had been in the bush.
So I decided to do better than that. First I hand wrote my letter (It was from a kid in College to his brother. College kid has decided to start protesting the war) to look authentic. Then I stained the envelope to make it look like it had been through mud and dirt. Then the return address is to Berkley. The mailing address is to a real American Base during Vietnam in '67.
Then I stained an appropriately sized elastic to and placed it around my M1 helmet (I don't have time to buy one, sorry). Letter in envelope stuck in the elastic. Only thing I'm not happy about is that I don't have a camo-cover for the helmet. I could always buy one, they are cheap.
God damn I love my collection of assorted Militaria.
It's pretty simple and quite cliche, but making other people happy makes me happy.
I just love when people say that I've made their day or that I made them laugh, it feels good.

Wawa 4 lyf. The only problem with massachussettes is that we're pretty much the only state that doesn't have wawa's. People always give me wierd looks when I have my wawa mug/shirt.

Just picked up Fallout 1, 2, & Tactics from GOG for free. It's been years since I last played FO2 and I'm happy I can finally play it again after switching to a Mac.

Sis got this shirt as a (late) birthday present for me.
Had a very good day today. Got to see both my brothers for several hours. Saw a good friend for the first time in months. Picked up a PS2 so I can play my old games for the first time in years. Also found out my dad just got a major promotion that includes a six dollar an hour pay raise.

Yesterday was a belated celebration of my friends birthday, we chilled round his, drank a couple of ciders and played dark souls for a couple of hours. We ended up getting pissed at dark souls, and watched Harold and Kumar get the munchies, which is a fucking brilliant film.
I'm typing in my new computer right now, it's so sick to play on.
