I finally beat this annoying quest in a Mount and Blade Warband mod by using some extremely cheap and cheesy tactics.

I was outnumbered by at least a hundred troops so I had my troops dismount from their horses and group tightly amongst them so that when the enemy cavalry came charging in, they'd plow straight into my wall of horses rendering their lances and spears useless while allowing my archers and other infantry to pick them off as they attempted to regroup and get away. My character got knocked out in the earlier parts of the battle, but I wasn't really needed as my troops eventually won the battle after a good 20 or so minutes.

I wish I recorded it because it was one hell of a funny and chaotic scene.

Feeling really homesick right now so listening to familiar music and looking at facebook messages and posts of all my old friends back home makes me a little bit happier but all the more homesick.

Or that feel when you find an internet friend you really like and you have a good time playing a video game until you sort of just stop talking and they don't want to play with you as much anymore. But it's pretty happy for the first week or so!
