I finally have something to look forward to every night. GamerChick and I play Blops 2 every night and we kick some serious kiddie ass. It's really fun.

I wish I owned Black Ops 2. I've played like 3 free weekends of it and I have a blast every time. Out of all the newer cod games I've played ( MW2, MW3, Blops 1 & 2 ) it's probably my favorite, I think because of the class creation. There's a lot more freedom.

I finally got Jurassic Park, Terminator 2 and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind on laserdisc. [sp] Now all i need is a working Laserdisc[/sp]

I saw an old friend. I was in another of my favorite dreams- it had been a while since this one reoccured, it always centers around me being alone in a world which seems to be sort of falling apart, but everything is still there- except the humans. Sometimes, there are dangers, but this time there were none. Life was continuing as it normally would for me in that place- gathering food, etc. I remember gathering food, and getting startled by a small flash of black... And I gasped. The only friend I ever had in that place, a little mutt that looked like a black terrier, was back. In the last dream I had of that place, he was killed- I don't remember how, but I remember waking up and feeling emptiness. He was back, and I snugglehugged the little motherfucker. He didn't have the injuries and scars that he had had when I found him, he looked almost newborn into the world. Then, right after I hopped the fence of the garden I was gathering food from, I looked at the dog, and looked away. In that instant, he vanished, and all the other people reappeared. A female police officer came up to me and started inquiring about my battered clothes and the other signs of wear and battles I wore, but I let that world go, somehow. It all seemed to fade in those instants, like my life there was over, that world didn't need me anymore. I don't think I'll ever see it again. It feels... Sort of melancholy, but happy all the same. I had fought mutated creatures, I had ran from and at death many times, but at the end of this dream wasn't exhilaration, fear, sadness or loneliness... Instead, happiness and peace. My story there is over- now I just have to wait for another story to begin.

Two more weeks left in my break and I get to spend them lazing around the house all by myself. I just really hope I don't get cabin fever again.

Head back to college tomorrow, classes start Wednesday. I have enjoyed being home but I am looking forward to getting back as well. After last semester with no biology courses I am looking forward to taking ornithology this semester as well as getting into my salamander research. As a bonus I will also be starting work study under my old botany professor so I will finally get a steady income again for the first time in years. Most of the work I will be getting paid for I have been doing for free in the greenhouse/preserve anyway.
