Repost from WAYWO, but it makes me happy: I just got a C++ textbook absolutely free because my school was getting newer books (the book was published 1998), and my math teacher didn't want to throw away books, so she decided to give them to anyone who wanted them.
And I learned how to play MTG today, and won 3/4 games. Unfortunately it was with a borrowed deck, but it was still fun.
When I ask my girlfriend if she'd want to watch a movie when we hang out and she says "Sure, but you probably won't see much of the movie"

The first episode of the new season of Vikings was fucking amazing. If you haven't watched the show, I suggest that you do.
The first season is only 9 episodes (45 minutes each) so it'll only take a few days to catch up if you can marathon through it.
How awesome my teachers are.
Like, seriously, all of my teachers at my school are genuinely extremely nice people. They all actually give a shit about teaching people, they're all really interesting (My freshman AP human geo teacher and I debate hot topics and talk about games all the time and he actually just recently bought Don't Starve on my recommendation, my audio video teacher has actually had tons of experience working in the film industry, my english teacher is the most unprofessional, dude teacher ever but he's really really well read and he has a ton to say about books and philosophy, etc) and just about all of them will go out of their way to help you with shit or cut you slack if you ask.
I seriously lucked out, because my teachers are like the only thing that keeps me sane from having to deal with the insanely shitty students.
Living independently for the first time in my life. A bit scary but also pretty liberating to be making all my own decisions for once.
Also I'm trying for a manager position at my job!
Even if I don't get it at least I'm actually trying for it rather than chickening out like usual.
My internet is still shit though. Thanks abbot. :suicide:
