I think I just figured out an idea for my first Magic The Gathering combo deck- I'm gonna use spells to take control of the enemy's creatures, and then sacrifice them to give my vampire cards power boosts. I think this is a formula to ultimately piss someone off.

So we got a really cool 30" 1080p television today. This means that we not only get a much better picture, but I get to use our old CRT television to play my Wii games on because the one I used to use was breaking down and unreliable. In a little while, I'm going to hook my laptop up to this thing via HDMI and see what I'm missing in the world of 1080p gaming.
Theres a slightly elevated section of railroad I drive over every day on my way to uni. If I'm lucky and the lights green on my way down the hill, I'll get to bomb it going 45. It's like a mini rollercoaster every time; I love it.
I watched my insanely soppy 4 year old cat Teddy sit next to my 2.5 year old Billy on the couch, which was really surprising.
I've got three, Teddy, Billy and Milly. Milly is a young kitten from the pet store, Billy is an adopted stray homed from some shitty docks with likely large rats present, and Teddy was abused by his owners and flung by the leg, and I adopted him from a carehome.
Guess which is the most vicious? That's right. [B]The petshop kitten[/B]. She's a complete bitch, she chases Teddy and he practically never fights back unless food is involved (then he gets all defensive) and she even beats up rough and tough Billy, who also chases Teddy, but has a sort of friendship with him.
Anyway, after a short bout of hissing from Teddy, I sat him down (he never bites or anything) next to Billy, held him without resistance there and he settled. They watched each other for the longest while before just snoozing.
Then the kitten sees this.

She sneaks up behind the couch, jumps to the top, and pounces when he's snoozing. I had only just walked in having made tea. I think she timed it specifically because of that. There's a loud hiss and he goes back to his usual perch on top of a fish tank with no water or fish in.
Billy, apparently not giving a fuck, goes back to sleeping.
Finally got a decently clear picture of this fucking woodpecker that's always at our feeder. c:
