Talked to my adviser today and I am on track for graduation next spring. Also I told him I was kind of worried that I am not doing so well in Organic Chem II and he basically told me that for my career choice nobody gives a shit about O. Chem scores.
He also said that with all my independent research experience he is sure I can get into graduate school for free. Getting a masters without adding to my debt would make me really happy.
My friend bought me Hannibal at the Gates for Total War: Rome II which comes out on Thursday. There's a new Rome II update tomorrow, adding in Seasons to the main campaign, and some other neat stuff.
And today Raja's of India came out for Crusader King's 2, which I will be picking up on Saturday.
Such a good week for some of my favorite Strategy games :D

The Smite game community.
I've never witnessed such a humble community before.
I thought pre-release players were gonna be elitist pricks like League of Legends but nope.
New players get "Do this instead, it'll work better" and "No problem man, couldn't do anything anyway" comments instead of being shat on.
I love being part of this community; a VERY new Hades player put out ults that I haven't even seen pre-release players do, so fucking good!

Yeah not always.
My friends and I (3 of us) tried our first game way back when and the other 2 teammates we had yelled at us constnatly for being 'trolls' and smurfs and feeding even though we said we were new.
Then again that was like the first or 2nd beta so idk.

Now that I think about it, too, it could have been that we just got a bad couple of players.
Tonight's lab might go by relatively quickly if nothing goes wrong with the plant dissection. If I'm really lucky, I might make it home an hour earlier than usual.

Oh, and I talked to a classmate about how I failed my Chemistry lecture last semester, and he was very sympathetic and said the class wouldn't be a huge deal if I'm switching to a Biology major. I feel a lot better about my fuck-up now.

I finished my lab so early that I actually have to wait around here for the next twenty minutes for an appropriately-timed bus to take me to the subway station. Today started out kind of shitty, but it really ended on a positive note and I'm very happy right now.
