Gonna be picking up my audio interface for my guitar when I go home from school today. Oh how long I've waited~
The only animal I dissected was a chicken
So far, I haven't had to dissect anything in classes. In middle school, I guess I dissected a chicken wing, but I basically hid in the back of the class during the first day of a pig fetus dissection lab and was sick for the rest of it, and haven't had to do any more dissections yet. (I was a gigantic wimp with no friends for most of middle school). I guess not being a social outcast in High School so far makes me happy.
So today I remembered that I bought a license for StartIsBack a while back. Anyone who wants to join my family pack?
I got a hand written letter from the chair of the board of trustees at my college congratulating me on my recent spade-foot toad publication. Also the head of the biology department said that next year the college will be paying for me to attend a bunch of scientific meetings next year. She also told me that with all my independent research I should be pretty much guaranteed acceptance to a good graduate program after graduation.
Turned 21 today, which makes me happy. Unfortunately my schedule means I can't drink too much tonight.
Well I was wrong, went over to a friends house last night. Ended up watching hockey and going through two jars of midnight moon (blueberry and regular 100 proof), and a good number of Oberon ales. Had a great time and still managed to make it to my 8am lab because his pug woke me up at 7.
I'm at 1000 posts!
Finally finished Max Payne tonight, and just started playing Max Payne 2 now. Awesome.
Well I answered all the guy's questions, hope it helps him out haha.
I introduced one of my non gaming friends to Dystopian games. I had her play Portal and Bioshock and it was pretty fucking cool to see someone actually willing to give something they don't do much a shot.
i dont know looking at this drawing i did makes me really happy

Perfect example of a utopia gone wrong and its citizens are practically unaware of the collapse. You are the next Michaelangelo.
Just got back from a 10 day school camp to the centre of Australia. It was great I saw Uluru while it was raining, which is apparently very very very rare
Shooting a plane down in Rise of Flight. That moment of exhilaration when his wing snaps off, nothing beats it.
My stomach infection symptoms has been calmed drastically and that new medicine taste damn good. I feel relieved! A massive thanks to our facepunch doctor, Zonesylvania, for the support, whenever I felt terrible. His tips were really helpful to me! Keep it up, buddy :D

And Portal fits into Dystopian purely for the fact that it was supposed to be a good, friendly test place and then a robot became a maniac and killed everyone.

I gifted my russian friend a russian background (she used the scout tf2 one, not enough vodka) I'm happy she likes it.
(may turn to a long post) Today I was at school, sitting with the girl I like and two other friends. All of the sudden she said 'Let's go hang out at my house!', which we all agreed to. So after school we meet up, and go to her house. Once we got there we made pancakes, which were completly fucked up but whatever, was fun. Then we went upstairs to her room (realize no one was home) to play truth or dare. As I got picked I chose dare, and was dared to kiss someone in the room. I kissed the girl I like, and she was absolutely fine by that, although she said I sucked at kissing. After that we went downstairs to watch some movie about slaves with a lot of sex and abuse. We sat on the couch, but quickly everyone was laying. She laid in my arms during most of the movie, and I kept feeding her little chips, cute as hell. Her sister got home when the movie almost ended, so we stayed for dinner and then went home, right before we left she hugged me. Now I'm talking to her on facebook she said she really enjoyed today, and that she felt really comfortable being with me. [sp]Now she just has to break up with her asshole bf[/sp]

Got some Email from harvard university, asking me to check them out some time. but they spelled my name wrong, go figure
New frames & lens prescription for my eyeglasses, so everything looks super sharp once again.
Got some Email from harvard university, asking me to check them out some time. but they spelled my name wrong, go figure
I hate to burst your bubble, but most e-mails from colleges asking you to come "check them out" are just automated spam messages that they send out to anyone who's applying to any college. I still get one from St. Michael's or something every few days even though I've been going to UMB for two semesters. [editline]11th April 2014[/editline] If it turns out to be legitimate, then that's fantastic and I wish you the best of luck. I just figured I'd warn you as someone who knows these things from experience.
-snip wrong thread-
Watching GameCenter CX makes me happy. Aniro is just one of those people who seem to spread joy
Even if it wasn't a good night (people vomiting at the pub and inside the last bus), it felt good to be with friends, and a girl actually likes me, which doesn't sound as a big thing, but for me it is. It's heartwarming to know people like you. Have a good night.
Oh man, Ive just started listening to the older daft punk stuff again, Ive always been a huge fan of them but I always seem to go a long time without listening to them but each time I rediscover them I fall in love all over again, so much talent.
Someone brought an Oculus Rift to my programming class today. [t]http://i.imgur.com/AEoPfot.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/cKnXMvc.jpg[/t] It was fucking cool.
