Last night a hedgehog crossed our yard.
It doesn't matter how old i get, seeing a wild animal up close will always trigger that sense of child-like wonder. Same thing with seeing a fish in the water, or watching a lizard cross the road.
My sister found a box turtle that had tipped into the pool, fished it out and took some pictures of it before letting it set off. It's one of the most alert and active box turtles I've ever seen.
It's missing the "hand" part of it's front left leg, as you can see. Looking at it closer there's some scarring on the rest of the leg, but it's hard to see in any of these pictures.

My mom put an offer on a really nice house that I'm looking forward to, if we get it. It's like 150 feet from a group of shops/restaurants and stuff so I could get a job there and just walk to work. Its also WAY closer to my school, and they are opening a train station close to that house next year (I drive to the train station and take the train to school).
Also, I finally found a nice system for managing all my movies/TV shows on my computer and can stream them to my phone, etc.
