Just got a notification from Dropbox saying I now have 43.2GB of free storage :v:

Finally got my DIN-5 -> PS/2 adapter, and can use this 1977 (from what I can find on the chip inside) keyboard  [T]http://scr.derpnet.nu/2013-07-18_13.46.59.jpg[/T]
So I actually decided to invest some time created content and scripts for second life. People are actually buying my stuff. I feel accomplished and a little less guilty for signing on.
When people complement the food that you made.
Sometimes I make food when I go over to my friend's house. I taught him the magic of re-heating Pizza in the oven instead of the microwave. That, and frying perogies over the stove with butter and pepper after you boil them was some serious witchcraft to him and his sister. Made me feel good.
why would you want to use an old keyboard?
It's mechanical maybe?
why would you want to use an old keyboard?
I love the satisfying click they give when you hit a key.
It's mechanical maybe?
As for some information. Unicomp still sells Model M keyboards in usb format. http://www.pckeyboard.com/
I just went to a local church for 3 hours to help them paint the shelves for their pantry event and needless to say, at the end when my dad picked me up, we went and got ourself lunch, then a little later we got icecream. I got a strawberry sundae which was the shit yo. So today was a good day. I'm covered in paint so soon I'm going to take a nice long, relaxing, warm shower.
First i won boarderlands 2 in a raffle and sold it And then my friend gave me a copy
why would you want to use an old keyboard?
I got it for free (actually found it in the trash), it's mechanical, and god I love the clicky noise.
pretty ladies
I second this
Finally invested in some tools to change my own oil. I can finally change my own oil for ~$30 instead of $90 by going to a shop. I can also actually do other work as well now that I have a jack.
Friend helped me fix my computer, I can finally play games again

You save $$$ which you could use for bills, etc. And you get to keep the tools for yourself so when ya need it, you have it. [sp]Unless the black-cladded man comes along and fucks shit up and steal a ton of shit, you should be fine as long as you don't hide it.[/sp]

My brother and I were guest instructors for a group of middle school kids earlier this week. We had three hours to teach them about reptiles and amphibians focusing on their ecological importance. We had live specimens from 14 different species and the kids got to hold them and interact with them up close. At the end of the class we had a "Toad Sumo" tournament and turtle races. After the class my brother got a message from the head of the camp saying that the kids were telling other instructors about what they learned. I really enjoy community outreach classes like these and it makes me happy to know the kids enjoy learning about biology/ecology.

Removing the LED connectors to my case lights. They blinded me during the evening and the night since they were extremely bright. They illuminated my whole room basically. I might remove the carpet in my room next week too. I just have so much dust in my room it's driving me insane (and it also makes my computer very dusty a lot faster...).
We've been having a heat wave for the past couple of days, and it's been so gosh darn hot that I can't even sleep at night. Out of nowhere though, not too long ago, rain. It was a downpour. I've never been so happy to see rain in my life. I went outside and basked in the drop of temperature, which was even better because it is nighttime. It was glorious.

Performing executions in Brutal Doom.
"found"
sorry for the days-late reply, but they were just in the condo.
Helping people with stuff and actually get thanked, or generally just being made to feel as if you're appreciated. Also, making my friends/partner laugh is, like, the best feeling ever.
This program. Strangely enough, it looks like this as I use Windows 7 but it works perfectly fine.

My piece of shit keyboard fractured at one edge. now you're asking me: Why are you happy? I never liked that keyboard at all. There's 3 keys that can fuck up your computer. So I dug around and found the keyboard my now-deceased mom used to have before she got a yellow keyboard with black text. This one's better.
You must be living in England somewhere. We've been burning to death.
Nope. USA. We have a central cooling system but since we're tight on money we can't afford to use it right now. Not that it matters for my room, it does fuck all for the second floor of my house. Fans even when placed mere inches from your body don't really help either. It's even worse how my school's dress code calls for long black pants for the Graphic Designers, even during summer.
