I love my job. The director of our department took our whole department out for lunch to a fancy restaurant as an appreciation for our hard work over the summer. Started with mussels, shrimp, calamari and italian sausage and salad for an appetizer, then pasta for the main course with the most delicious tortellini I have ever eaten with some veal and chicken on the side and a nice espresso to finish off the meal. We spent most of the day at the restaurant so it was a pretty easy day.
By far the best job I've ever had, I'll be done at the end of August, but I can go back in December when my semester is over and I can go back next summer and get a $1.50/h raise.

Coming home from school and being able to take my pants off and listen to music so loud it fills the entire house.
my grandparents are sending me $300 to buy books for this next school year. I've pointed out to them that I almost always wind up with at least $150 left over after actually buying the books, but they're just like, "keep the money, you'll find something you'll need to spend it on".
I love my grandparents.
I also have massive respect for the fact that they're in their late eighties and are still able to live in their own house without too much trouble.
I finally ordered a tablet the other day. I'm pretty excited because I have wanted one for a while especially for school, hopefully it ships/arrives soon.
I get to go to sauna, pool and get a massage every working day of this week
my friend gave me his nokia lumia 800, because he just bought an iphone. it's a massive step up from my old one, and i fucking love being able to browse the web while i'm on my way to school.

You guys both know that 3G-enabled dumbphones can browse the web too, right? I used to have Opera on my W565 or whatever it was called.

my old phone was a samsung C3300, which was such a shitty phone that it was practical impossible to browse sites like facebook, let alone stuff like facepunch and other forums.

A friend of mine online runs a blog where he hosts compilation albums, and has asked if I want to organize this one, so I can get some fresh faces. So far, everything's going great, everyone I've asked has been really happy to have their music featured. I've done the artwork for the past two, and was featured in the last one, and overall the guy's just really nice, and helpful, even though we have trouble communicating (he's french) he's still really sportive, and gives me great music advice.
