the ex of a girl I know, who goes to the school I just started at, said hi to me yesterday which was nice. was a little confused of how he knew of me since I've never interacted with him before or anything, just know him from facebook and this girl.
today he said hey again, and started a conversation with me! felt really good that someone showed interest in knowing me! also met another guy who is the brother of a boyfriend of another girl I know, who also showed interest in getting to know me.

feels like I'm building social connections again, and it feels really good

Not an entomologist but I would guess it is a female eastern swallowtail, or a pipevine swallowtail.

A new remote control for our Samsung (AKA Horizon) all in one receiver came in, but that doesn't interest me.
I set the new one up, realized that I might be able to use the old one on the TV in my room, and it works! Now I can finally turn on the TV without having to get up.
The original remote control was completely worn out, even after giving it a wash yesterday.
Now I hope UPC won't be a cunt and wants us to return the old remote control.
