How people in my classes think I'm funny.
We had to read our letters to anybody out loud to the class. The person I chose to write to was the guy with the annoying, fake-excited sounding voice who voices in every US children's toy commercial ever.
The class was in a laughing fit, teacher included.

This is the first post to this thread by me and it was directed at my grandma which sadly died 4 days ago. The thing that gets me happy is how much she liked me and how good she talked about me to everyone related to my family. I called her last week just days before she died and had an 40 minute conversation about her youth/war/love live and such, old people are so rich of experience it made me really happy to know her whole story... it helps me to get over it.
I found two of my long lost friends today, I finished a restoration project yesterday and it's my 22nd birthday today!
Pretty pleased.

I'm leaving for college today and spent all of last night saying my goodbyes to the many friends who weren't coming with me to Rowan University.
The goodbyes didn't make me happy; quite the opposite. But the fact that I could have such amazing people in my life, people that make me so emotional when we're going to be separated for a short while, makes me feel incredibly blessed.
I get by with a little help from my friends.
The fact that I am able to skype with my cat from college. :3

Found one with an extra front leg, this happens occasionally with salamanders. It wont cause him too many problems he was one of the most healthy ones I found all day.

about 30 mins ago, some people left my house after being there from 19:00 to 23:00. had a good time, music, drinking, etc. me and this girl who I've met earlier was joking about "having friends" when our phones pinged because, well, we're both lonely and have problems with anxiety. she sent me a message just now and said she had a good time and can't wait until next time!
I just spent 7 hours chatting with one of the friends I mentioned in my earlier post. I haven't been in contact with her since late in 2007.
I almost didn't go to a corny school event because I wasn't feeling good, then I took a massive shit and took a shower, so I felt better.
then I went, made a s'more and met a cool girl.
Been writing today and yesterday, finished the first chapter, got good feetback before I even finished the chapter :v:

wow, after getting to know her a little better I see that we share so many things. I was kinda scared that she had lots of social connections compared to me, but instead it looks like we're on the same level of social connections! makes me a little more confident in getting to know her better

Maybe just "the intro day", even though for all the nine school years in Latvia we had moved it to the non-weekend day.
well, just found out that i start school on the 12th instead of the 9th.
Apparently bowties are "in fashion" now. I can find them everywhere now!
Had an amazing day today, had some friends drive down to my college and spend the day. We went to a zoo, then after it closed came back to the college for some air hockey, Foosball, etc. Then went to a steakhouse and rounded the night off telling jokes and watching standup. We were laughing our ass off all day, even though it is a ~2.5 hour drive they already said if they can they will be coming back later in the weekend.
This is probably the most fun I have had in weeks.
