Back to school (< no)
I actually have good friends for the first time in my life. I literally only had one friend from grade 5 to 12, we always took the same classes and did stuff together in school so we never really made other friends, but after the first few years of being his friend our interests went in different directions but we still hung out because we had no other friends. But this past summer and my last school semester I've made a few friends that I regularly hang out with and have similar interests to me, I actually have a lot of fun hanging out with my friends now and it feels nice to have someone that actually invites me to do stuff.
On an unrelated note, I told my mom today that I stopped showing up to a shitty job I recently got (after my second day of working there) and I would go find a new job in two days. She started throwing a huge fit and saying how irresponsible I am, etc. It really fuckin pissed me off because I have perfectly valid reasons as to why I left that job. Anyway, she pulls this shit all the time but she actually apologized this time which makes me happy.

my mum sometimes gets angry at me for stupid little things but she ALWAYS apologizes. she works long hours, doesn't get much sleep and is pretty emotionally fragile so it's totally understandable that she may get a little impatient with me sometimes. just keep in mind that your mother probably doesn't always mean what she says

Same.
My mom called me a selfish lazy prick and a ton of other negative words about me yesterday, even though I help her with literally everything she asks for, found a job because she asked me to and so forth.
She got pissed that I wanted a part-time job. "YOU ONLY THINK OF YOURSELF"?
Say what? I pay the rent to live at home and I help when you ask, what the fuck is your problem.
She's the one being selfish if I'm not wrong here. If I don't exactly do everything as she wants and even more, she gets extremely angry and starts throwing a fit.

Go a job, somehow.
Wrote my first resume and CV. Sent it in to literally one place. Waited 7 days or so. Got a reply I got invited for a job interview and then I got the job the same day.
Not bad for a first time.
Yesterday I had a conversation with my mum over the phone
And it went pretty normally

I'm moving in with my girlfriend in a few days, I'm kinda nervous about how things will be but I'm really happy I'm finally making that step.

moms do that as a subtle way of making you not want to stay at home for the rest of your life, I think. My dad repeatedly tells me that if I don't move out after college he's gonna make me pay rent :v:
Happy birthday!
Thank you.
A famous person Im a huge fan of retweeted a tweet of mine today:

Best birthday so far.
Was at a fastfood restauraunt and got brought the wrong burger. I only noticed after I took two bites. The waiter excused himself and brought me the right one. I got to keep the wrong burger without having to pay for it. This really made my day as I am normally an unlucky person.

Today is my Dad's birthday too.
I also got out of classes two hours early because we didn't actually do a lab in chem lab today.

Once my sister and I went to Arby's, and they messed up our order so we got a bunch of chicken tenders, onion rings, a free drink and a bunch of mozzarella sticks to make up for it.
edit: now that I think about it our order wasn't even messed up they were just late by like four minutes
My comment got read on my favorite webshow.

It's very rare that someone who I am not in family with gives me something
When it happens, I get extra happy.
(They could carve a message in a brick and it would make me happy)
Today I decided to stay in bed and skip school, since I've become pretty sick since I was infected some days ago.
What I did not expect however, was what happened 15 minutes ago:
Two girls from class suddenly knocked on my door and came in with a big dish of lunch they'd made for me :v:
I was sort of in awe, not sure what to say.
This is gonna be a good year.

I'm guessing you live in a dorm?
That's very nice of them.
Yeah I live in a dorm.

Generally, people are very nice here. Some others decided to make a list of everyones birthdays, so that they could wake them in the morning with cake :o
I should maybe mention that we're less than 100 people in this school, so that makes stuff like this possible. It's a tight-knit community.

Wow that is extremely lovely. I wish I would live in such a community.
My books arrived!
On 5th I have started studying in college, in London. Wow, being a foreigner is actually good. Some girls were talking to me on the first day! Now I always stick with two of them during a 20 min break and lunch time. Overall, I love this college. MUCH more better than in Latvia.
I found linux flakes in the store today (well, kind of) :v:

My dad just replaced the cable of my Logitech G300 with success.
Finally after months it's resurrected!
Now on to installing its software and get back to FPS gaming.

Except having my paycheck, nothing. At the moment, pretty much everything sucks.
I got complimented for my Sonic shirt by both a Mexican exchange student and my homeroom teacher today.
