I got some awesome T-shirts at the local thrift shop today. I got this one with the Hammer Bros. from Mario, one that says, like, "Peace be with you" and some other stuff, and this really funny one with a cat dressed as Chairman Mao with "Chairman Meow" written on it, which I found pretty humorous.

I'm (mostly) not sick anymore. I'm so glad I recover from colds quickly.
Also, I killed a centipede in my room after it fell in the trash can, crawled out, and almost got away from me because the carpet on my floor and the low lighting made it almost blend in like camouflage.
So when I visited home, I got a lady friend of mine a little gift.
It was this little turtle on a chain.
She loved it and told me she had an additional gift at the end of the day. She says that she's got two of these, so I can have the other one.
She then hands me... [sp]a turtle that was the same kind of turtle that was on the necklace I gave her.[/sp]
Damn universe, you crazy.
And THEN, I packed it up with the rest of my stuff as I headed back to college last night. I get to my dorm, unpack my stuff... and it's gone.
I got this beautiful, meaningful gift from my best friend... and I lost it after not even two days.
So I fall asleep and wake up feeling like the worst bastard of a friend ever...
I text my mom and tell her to check my bedroom for the turtle, along with some other things I forgot to bring.
Lo and behold, there it is.
Never before have I been so happy to not fuck up.
Few things compare to an awful situation made better.
I just started playing Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs 5 minutes ago, and I already found a bug. Some of the drawers are locked so I can't open them by hand, but I can open them by throwing a chair at it. The lock on the drawer is clipping through now. The explorer in me is very pleased.
Today I filled out the paper work to do work study under my old botany professor. He already sent me an email and said that he requested me and so it is a 99% chance that I will be accepted.
Basically this means that I can do work for him and it will take off of my student debt. He has already said I can write up my hours in the greenhouse so I will be getting payed to do the things I am already doing for free.
Having money, and buying things.
Picked up a [url=http://www.supergaijinultragamer.org/wp-content/gallery/big-haul-in-feb-2013/white-gameboy-nintendo2.jpg]whiteboy case[/url], and I have a gameboy to put it over. Also won a Japanese auction for a bunch of games (including this [url=http://www.gameboycarts.com/wp-content/themes/coldstone/timthumb.php?src=http://www.gameboycarts.com/carts/IMG_2724.jpg&h=250&w=250&zc=1&q=100]swag-ass white cart[/url] for 1yen) so I'm pretty pleased. Also got some gameboy flashcarts arriving in the next week or so, so I can sync multiple gameboys together for music shizz.
Life's good yo.
Last nights episode of breaking bad was awesome.
I convinced the guy who claimed copyright on one of my videos to retract it, so my youtube isn't limited anymore. Time to make those videos I've been meaning to make!

The bad news is, one of my fish (Ray) passed away last week. It wasn't exactly unexpected (he looked pretty rough around the edges) and I like to think I gave him some good last days out of that cramped-ass tank. I committed his remains to a lake outside my dorm.

My English professor canceled class for the second time this month yesterday, allowing me to go home an hour or two early. I really hope this becomes a weekly/semi-weekly thing.
Just as long as it doesn't happen on Wednesdays because I have to stay until 8:30PM for a biology lab.
I was allowed to bring my cat to Maryland with me. :3

So when I eventually DO get the game, I'm still not gonna know what to expect.
Which is nice.
