I've decided to start taking piano lessons (better late than never) and my teacher was surprised at how quickly I started to understand everything, and how much better I was at playing by the end of the lesson! And, I'm starting to actually understand sheet music, rather than it just being some semi-random symbols on lines.

I am loving the shit out of this game. The gunplay is perfect, the gameplay is fast, everything about this game makes me want to play more of it. When I've cleared an area of guys, I just want them to re-spawn because it's so much fun to be in gunfights. This is quickly rising up to the level of love I have for painkiller.

Spent the day teaching about animals at an event downtown, then went out with some people from the group for Japanese food. Kids were freaking out that they got to interact with animals. I love when people, especially kids and young adults, get excited about nature.

I got the highest score in my class for the maths final, it's hard for me to believe that I was seriously thinking of not doing math in school the previous year.
The fact that I managed to make a couple hundred bucks off of Second Life products.

The fact that this girl I met at a party asked after a week of knowing her if I wanted something more than a friendship.
Which promptly led to us being together for two weeks now.
It's funny how we started talking too; She has dreadlocks and that's basically the only reason I went up to her at the party (That and she is cute as all hell). We just stood there pretty much talking about how to take care of them, how long we've had them (I've had mine for nearly a year and she's had hers for pretty much three years!) and so on.
It is my 20th birthday today, and my aunt gave me the greatest gift ever.

How long have you been playing?
I saw my uncle's girlfriend for the first time in a long while. Sadly he wasn't with her as he was working but she told me I'm always welcome to stop in whenever to visit, which I'm definitely going to have to do because my uncle is really cool but I haven't seen him, or anyone on my dad's side of the family, in a really long time.

I made a lot of progress on learning how to produce music today. I learned a couple of very important techniques, and I'm finally learning how to properly write chords to a melody (getting better at least).

My sister got GTA V over the weekend and I finally got to play it. It's such an amazing game. I love the rock station. Lots of awesome music on there. Elton John, Steve Miller, Def Leppard, Foreigner, it's just fantastic.
I was playing GTA5 in front of my dad today and he actually started paying attention and asking me questions about it, then started complaining that I wasn't running anyone over :v:
He usually has next to no interest in video games, so it was nice to bond with him over one for once
Spent the weekend at home, went to a Ren Fair with my best friends and saw Insidious 2 (a fucking AMAZING movie, actually makes the first one better).
I also love it when I go over to my gal pal's house and her cat comes to see me. See, I dunno why, but her cat fucking LOVES me (according to said gal pal, cats are a good judge of character; cue "awwwww"). But seriously, the thing rubs itself all over me, meows until I start petting it, then curls up on my lap and falls asleep in a little purry ball of kitty. It just melts my heart away.
I also watched Labyrinth today with said gal pal today before I left. It's a good fucking movie.
Today was a good day.
Besides the hurt shoulder, first time in who knows how long I woke up well rested.
