The weather today is amazingly lovely. Cloudy and slightly rainy, just enough to put that wonderful feel and smell in the air, and more than cool/breezy enough that the humidity isn't murder.

Yesterday was one of the best days I've had in a while. I went to my friend's house who I never get to see anymore because she's too sick to go to school. Three other friends (two guys and a girl) came over and we smoked a bunch of pot, then I went cruising with the other two guys while the girls just did whatever. We went to another friend's house, smoked even more pot, went for ice cream, then went back to the first friend's house. We chilled, smoked a bit more pot, then they left and I was all alone with the ladies. So then we got ready for the dance that was going on that night, and one of the girls thought it would be funny to straighten my hair. I was beyond baked so I went along with it. Then we got to the dance and I saw another good friend who had some rum that he didn't like so he let me have it. Then we went to the dance and had a rockin' good time. I have had a very sore throat today, but it was pretty worth it since yesterday was just so fun.

Today my brother was in the area for his job and was able to swing by for a few hours. I always enjoy hanging out with him, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Also we found a bumble bee waving its front leg so I gave it some high fives. Then it lifted its back leg and I went to high five it and it immediately slammed the leg down. This means I actually fell for a "down low, too slow" from an invertebrate. We both couldn't stop laughing because the timing was perfect: "High five!, High five!, High Five!, Oh, here goes a down low! I was too slow."

Contest Day is over, we got rained on so hard the contest was postponed until 1 PM, the first band was supposed to march at 10 AM. And with another band thing, more band pictures.

We finished in 8th place overall, because there was a major fall in the show and five people went down. And we got the top of our class Music Award.

I got a glow-in-the-dark Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon poster a while back for $20. Some might say it's a lot of money for a poster, and yeah, it is, but it's definitely served its purpose. Also, just above it you'll just barely see three smaller pictures. Two of them are autographed by celebrities. (Ken Foree from the original Dawn of the Dead and Veronica Taylor, the voice of Ash Ketchum from Pokemon.)

Also, if you look just left of it, there's ANOTHER autographed picture. I met Joe Dante, the director of "Gremlins". He's the nicest fucker ever.
