Do you remember where you were when the towers fell?

As a certified Oldfag of the highest order, I was at college in 2001. When the first plane hit I was asleep.

After the second plane hit one of my roommates knocked on my bedroom door and said "The fucking Twin Towers are falling. A plane crashed into them and they're falling and people are jumping."

I got out of bed and watched it for a while and then had to go to class because I had school that day. When I got to campus everything had been shut down because everybody was freaking out.

They grounded all flights into and out of my area for a week or two, and people were freaking the fuck out for a long, long time.
