Here are some things that every idiot could think of, without whining on the internet:
*Get the book, speed read it, skip some things and pick the important things out of it
*Go to Amazon, onlinebookstores. Read different reviews
*Read the abouts. Wikipedia search the book, google discussions
Or think about how to be an lazy ass in advance, you still could have cheated on this if you would have started thinking about it earlier than one day before you need to hand it in. Especially if something depends on it.
Another smart thing, not many people think of: Actually do your homework but spread it over the given two months.
