wait what I thought it ended [sp]on a happy note- she doesn't exactly remember being his right hand, but in the end she stated that she can finally start her love. that being said I thought it meant they can actually start a proper relationship. atleast thats the vibe I was getting. so I assume that they'd finally y'know actually get together. maybe I'm not getting something.[/sp]
today i learned that my cousin is a bigger anime fan than i am. i saw his figurine collection.
it was amazing

[sp]i never implied that midori was the best girl[/sp]
[sp]i never implied that midori was the best girl[/sp]
oh.
well I thought she was
I personally liked some of the other girls more than midori in that show
Though I can't believe I watched the entire fucking show
Watching Mitsudomoe. The only thing that bugs me is how the humor is always a misunderstanding of some type.
And then things like this happen.
I'm serious, I dunno but I think its a superb show 9.6/10 would watch again.
[editline]9th July 2012[/editline]

You're certainly the cancer that is killing anime.

Also anyone else watching Muv Luv? Shit got grimdark pretty fast
When does a new episode of SAO come out?
Sunday?
Kokoro Connect episode 1 was surprisingly good.
The humor is gentle and good, it's quite laidback and instead of getting one sequence or two explaining their whole personality it gets naturally laid out for you through the whole episode. The body swapping is also really interesting since it's not permanent, which can actually make it quite horrifying.
If the show is at least as good as this throughout then it'll be a clear 8/10. The only thing that bothered me was the mole on Nagase's face, also the fact that she was voiced by the same voice actor for Yui in K-ON is annoying, since it's a K-ON lookalike show.
So I went to a local scifi convention over the weekend, and whenever there were wasn't anything even remotely interesting going on my friends kept gravitating to the "anime room". They were essentially showing a bunch of different anime (official subs of ones they could license to show) of varying quality/genre throughout the entirety of the convention. It's definitely a peculiar experience going to what is basically a makeshift movie theater and watching subbed anime with a bunch of strangers and a few friends.
During the times that we visited it, I only saw portions of:
Nana - This one was interesting and the japenglish(?) in the OP/ED was hilarious. I also learned that something could be a shoujo and a josei at the same time.
Shoujo_Kakumei_Utena - Chu Uguu~
Claymore - I had already started watching it before the convention, but I put it on hold a while back.
Initial D - I kept hearing about it in this thread but never actually saw an episode. The physics were ridiculous.
Galaxy Angel - If i was watching this by myself it wouldn't have been nearly as funny.
Saiunkoku Monogatari - Opinion pending.
I also caught the last half of fanboy bebop.
There were a couple of cosplayers here and there, but I didn't really bother taking pictures. Once the official pictures get put up i'll see if anything is relevant and post it in here when the time comes.

Sounds like a tasteful anime room. Highly unusual.
Nana is really fucking good and Utena is good. Claymor and Initial D is supposedly good.
Only bad things there seems to be Galaxy Angel that I can see on MAL there has eyes 10x wider than Clannad and Saiunkoku Monogatari that's obviously for girls (not necessarily bad or good, ranked 312 on MAL is pretty good).

They also had japanese candies in the back of the room that were being given out. It certainly made the slow parts of the convention enjoyable.
I think nana is one of those anime I would rather watch by myself than with a group. It seemed a little awkward to have it playing up on the big screen, but I'll definitely check it out again later. Galaxy angel has like 3 minutes of plot every episode, and then the rest is just some sort of offshoot adventure. The humor itself is of the "lol so randum" type, so I didn't really enjoy it too much. The people that were completely drunk had a blast though, so I at least got to laugh at them laughing at the show.
Hitori Imouto episode 1 was pretty terrible.
But I already knew this was a show that would probably be terrible but had potential to be good. The girls are all sluts, I think that sums up all of the terrible things in this show.
Meets boy for the first time, thinks of him as a encounter of fate after, literally, 10 minutes and ends up trying to kiss him after just a few hours of getting to know him and fantasizes about him whilst taking a bath.
After one day at school as a new transfer student he's already got 3 chicks that wants to eat his dick (without even doing anything. He's done absolutely nothing), one of them being his sister that acts like a fucking stalker.
All the characters are stereotypical and they play their roles to their tropes and nothing else. The characters does dumb shit to fit in with what every other terribly generic show does and nothing makes sense.
can someone explain me what the fuck is going on in last 5 episodes of [sp]Gurren Lagann[/sp]?
can someone explain me what the fuck is going on in last 5 episodes of [sp]Gurren Lagann[/sp]?
doesn't really need to be spoiler tagged(?)
doesn't really need to be spoiler tagged(?)
I haven't seen it, but I was confused by him tagging it.
All that can be inferred is that something big or dramatic happens in episode 5.
things I need to watch still..
Maria†Holic..
Angel beats.
Finish up Gintama(on episode seventy something)...
Continue with SAO.
Finish spice and wolf (forgive me- left off on episode 3.)
actually attempt to watch clannad(too chicken shit)
re-watch stein's gate.
finish Dog days. (season 1 that is)
I feel like I'm doing something wrong.
