can someone explain me what the fuck is going on in last 5 episodes of [sp]Gurren Lagann[/sp]?
huh, are you dumb or something? [sp] he deafeats the anti-spirals[/sp]
things I need to watch still.. I feel like I'm doing something wrong.
Yeah, you're watching more than one finished show at the time. [editline]9th July 2012[/editline] First episode of Joshiraku was relatively good. Got some good jokes and play on words and was pretty honest and self-aware. Basically what the show is about, sitting around tossing jokes around in-between talk about things. Seems like it'll be one of those shows that are good time wasters.

Uppotte!! and that scene made me laugh way too hard even though it's really cheap humour

Finished Gurren Lagann. Loved it.
Why are the Japanese either a) So horrible at English they never speak it b) Don't know English at all? 初恋はいつですか? Is he asking about my first love? Seriously, every single Japanese I met online outside of Facebook has only been able to speak Japanese, English? Nope.

Ahahaha. The latest episode of Jinrui was hilarious. :v: Also, was [sp]the chicken part with the swearing intentional or just something the people subbing put in? Made the part funnier.[/sp]

[editline]9th July 2012[/editline] this part http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w24ECfWGi3A#t=1076s
It was intentional, at least from my understanding.
Listening to it again with my headset (TV speakers aren't so great. :( ) Yeah, definitely seems intentional now. I love this kind of comedy.

The whole gimmick [sp]of the glasses was that they translated hyper-literally, so "fuck" would mean "fornication" and so on.[/sp] Hell, they even straight up said as much in the episode.

Because of their different writing system? Because they dub their entertainment? Because they have japanese versions of most services on the internet? not that hard to understand

YuruYuri S2 EP2 was great too. Dat Yui eyecatch

So much I want to understand but fucking can't. Maybe I should pick up Japanese, but on the other hand it would probably be a big waste of time afterwards.

Does anyone else remember this anime? I'll give you a clue: It made no sense whatsoever. Not a necessity in any regards, but being proficient in another language looks very good on resumes. Also, you can understand what your hobby revolves around, which is like a double bonus!
