The music is fantastic and the graphics are extraordinary, but the story looks to be some sort of horrendous trainwreck
So I just watched the Time of Eve (Eve No Jikan) movie with it's additional epilogue.

It's said that the accident involved a human girl so Nagi was definitely human then, but could she have been killed and 'resurrected' as an android? Who is her android father-figure who only appears in the outro/epilogue of the film (assuming it's that guy Shisoku(sp?) that gets mentioned a couple of times)? Why does he have one obviously android arm and one normal?[/sp]

I also just noticed that the director for this show is the same that directed Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan... and... Another...
He's directed some very different stuff. I mean. Bokusatsu Tenshi, Another, Genshiken, XXXHolic and Crayon Shin-chan. What a mix. Not a very strong director, but he seems to do relatively well. He'll also direct "Girls und Panzer".
Dokuro-chan is one of the best animes in the history of animes.

Hiragana are the characters they use for Japanese words
Katakana are for loan words from english, primarily anyway

Kanji > Hiragana > Katakana
Obviously, though, you don't have to follow the order. But you should really focus on kanji from the getgo
