That's Kizumonogatari, which is being made as a movie that will happen some time this fall (which will mean some additional time before dvd/blu-ray releases and fan subs).
From the people who've read the LN, it's supposed to be fucking great, so I'm excited.
Dog Days is so good, [sp]Just saw the episode with the demon king in S2, the dude was kinda of a let down[/sp]
[QUOTE=FlubberNugget;37362540]Learn the three like this
Kanji > Hiragana > Katakana
Obviously, though, you don't have to follow the order. But you should really focus on kanji from the getgo[/QUOTE]
I would recommend learning the Hiragana then Katakana, and then learn some kanji with the vocabulary. While learning 食 is good, learning 食べるwould be a bit more useful, teaching you the kanji and vocabulary term, as well as part of the pronunciation. Grammar should be learnt alongside the vocabulary.
Learning that is very useful if you plan to do any reading as not everything is translated or romaji in Japan.
I wish the school taught words and grammar instead of phrases. I only know it like I'm reading from a script
I barely know any phrases / sentences. I know a few words.
Ohayou, minnasan.
konichiwa, baka gaijin-san (I add the san so not to be rude).
I'm out of phrases.
glad I've already learned both hiragana and katagana- I've learned like. Two Kanji... So I'm just focusing on the language itself big time right now.

I want to learn even if I don't become fluent, be nice to know some things that are not always the big ones you hear in anime.
But I'm pretty lazy when it comes to long term things.
I try my hardest not go go by phrases, because I've learned sentence structure- but not all of it. Like:
"Boku wa" (wa= I, and boku means will... So its "I will".) Things like sumimasen have duel meanings like "I'm sorry" or "Excuse me", Gomen(nasai) is basically "I'm sorry" but for your friends or something. Haven't really touched up on that too much.
[editline]23rd August 2012[/editline]
wari wari wa I think is, "we are".
ohayo
what, at least spell it right, god
.. Or we will. I forgot, fucking hell.
Vous etes tous weeaboos!!
I find it confusing (at least so I heard) that words are placed differently in the sentence differently from English.
So would it be "Boku wa senpoku!" ?

Oh...is it actually Ohayou?
If so I can never trust the internet again.
dude sentence structure is a fucking bitch when it comes to Japanese. I have no idea what senpoku is.

Ohayou is the correct spelling, the "u" is silent.

Is it true that stroke pattern matters?
I mean I can write the letter "A" a few different ways but that won't change it's meaning.
... Also I don't know the difference between things like 私は(Watashi wa= I am, in which I don't know the difference between Ari wa, and Watashi wa.)
[editline]23rd August 2012[/editline]
and yes, stroke pattern matters.
[editline]23rd August 2012[/editline]
to an extent, ultimately it won't change the meaning. Wareware wa is "We will"
Left Facing U
A man knocking someone's hat off their head
The Fancy H
That spells Tsunami! This is fun.
I'd like to learn Japanese but first I have to relearn my native language so I can stop being an embarrassment to my family
What current shows are airing that have the most fan service possible.
I'm halfway through the first season of Code Geass and theres pizza hut everywhere.
At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they stage a daring raid on the pizza mines theres so much pizza.
This message brought to you by grandu sponsaru Pizza Hut.

I think they only matter for kanji but my japanese teacher was half retarded and gave me A's just for going to anime/japanese club so
