Dubs are more or less universally inferior to the original language, however the usual list of better anime dubs goes:
Cowboy Bebop
Baccano
Fullmetal Alchemist (though I forget whether it was the original or brotherhood)
Cromartie Highschool (in the so-bad-it's-good way where it actually improves the comedy of the show)
Black Lagoon
FLCL (debatable but I thought it was passable)

Mecha is cool and all but I find it a bit annoying when you get those fans who wonder why it isn't applied in real life, or try to call any mecha anime logical or realistic
One of our two cats died yesterday, aged only 5 years old (the other is 8). Became ill about 6 days ago, stopped eating and drinking and started hiding at the furthest corners of our house (common for sick cats). Took some tests at the vet and his liver values were completely fucked, apparently he either ate something poisonous (wouldn't be surprised, he had a terribly bad habit of munching on stuff like plastic lying on the ground/paint flakes off an old door/ etc)[I] or [/I]he contracted a certain rare virus at kittenhood that laid dormant until it got triggered and activated now for some reason or another (also likely because his mother cat was a stray, not as rare for them to have it). Shall never know for sure. His condition worsened each day and antibiotics+medicine+feeding via a syringe did nothing, so we had to put him down yesterday at the vet. I still feel like shit, but such is life.

I know what you feel, we had to do the same with one of my dogs a few weeks ago, he had a brain stroke that was only getting worse and worse :(
Oldest dog got put down this year as well. He was about 17 though, so definitely not too young. He had tumors I think it was. I was away at university when my parents took him to the vet to get checked, since he couldn't stand up (for a long time, had a lot of trouble doing so), and didn't know they had until after he'd been put down. Didn't hit me very hard at all, much like the death of my grandfather on January 1st last year, or my grandmother in May.

Finished Manyuu Hikenchou. I'm not sure how fanservicey something has to be to count as porn, but this is almost there. It had too much plot to be actual porn. Or maybe you could just say that porn and shows aren't different, but shows just have varying levels of porn scattered throughout, and at a point it becomes too much porn to be a show anymore, and the porn consumes everything.
But yeah, lots of tit fondling and tearing shirts and lesbian action. It was ridiculous but it wasn't really silly enough to totally convince me it was a parody of normal fanservicey anime.
Going to go with 5/10 because I honestly found myself liking the story a little, and finding a lot of it funny. Also the tits [I]grew on me[/I] a little after a while. A ho ho ho.
Rubbish, but not absolutely horrible ending too.
