Second seasons can be voted for if it makes sense.

For example, it does NOT make sense to vote for Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Panic!. But it does make sense to vote for Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Panic?! Fumoffu. because they are completely different shows. The one is a mecha military action show. The other is a fully blown comedy.

Seasons that are significantly different than it's prequels or sequels can be voted on as long as they can be seen without watching the first season.

Manga greatly expands over the ranobe and even over the anime version. My only gripe with it was that it kinda falls apart in the end when the story had expanded in so many different directions. But at the end of the day it's still a great read.
