Well, it's the directors second job actually directing outside of being an episode director. First being Inu x Boku Secret Service which I haven't seen but is probably not good.
The animation studio has been animation producer for this and that and seems competent enough, they worked on Level E.
Music is by the same guy that composed TWOGK and Hellsing Ultimate's music.
It doesn't seem very solid, but it could go any way.

I haven't. But Araki has had different ammount of input in every adaptation that has been done. they made a movie out of the first part a few years ago, but it was never released on dvd because he was so displeased with it.
